Justin Paul is a self-taught artist. Born in 1980 in Wyandotte, Michigan,to very loving and strong parents who at the time had just discovered that his older sister Jessica was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. His parents were told to leave Michigan for his sisters well being and he and his family moved around a bit. He has lived in Arizona, Florida and Hawaii, spending the majority of his childhood in the latter. Justin moved back to Arizona in 1994 following his sisters doctor and due to her declining health. However, she lost her battle with Cystic Fibrosis in 1996 at the age of 18.

Art was never anything serious until about 9 years ago when He discovered painting. He fell in love with it and the freedom to create interesting and unusual compositions. He is very much interested in the dynamic interactions between humans, especially the ways we treat each other or should we say, mistreat.
